Help Send a RiverBend Bronze Ringer to Camp!
RBB ringers are always challenging themselves to reach higher standards of musical accomplishment. One way we do this is to attend workshops and festivals both near and far. In the last calendar year, individual ringers have traveled to Connecticut, Michigan, the West Coast– even Japan! Our Music Director, John Klopp, networks at the Handbell Musicians of America National Festival each year and brings back skills, techniques, and repertory to help the ensemble grow.
Going to a festival is like going to camp—
it’s intense, it’s insightful, it’s packed with learning–
and we are asking for your help!
RiverBend Bronze members are hoping to attend either the Handbell Musicians of America Area 8 Festival in Rockford in early February, or the Iowa City Handbell Festival in late March. Would you donate $50 to underwrite one of our RiverBend Bronze Ringers to attend a regional handbell festival this Spring? Your gift underwrites registration fees, music purchases, table rental, and equipment transport- and is Tax Deductible!
